Ridgely’s Record

May Community Meeting

This month’s community meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at The Starting Lineup Bar and Grill, 213 Penn Street, beginning at 7 pm.

We’ll hear from Samatha Rose of the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership about a major environmental initiative happening on the nearby Middle Branch of the Patapsco River. This project aims to restore over 50 acres of waterfront, including an intertidal wetland, a tidal creek, a boardwalk, and walking/biking trails.

State Senator Bill Ferguson will also be at the meeting to provide an update on the recently completed legislative session in Annapolis and answer any questions you may have.

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, you can join us online. Login details and the agenda will be posted on the Ridgely’s Delight website.

Neighborhood Happy Hour

Join your neighbors on Friday, May 3 at Section 771, starting at 6 pm, for the monthly Ridgely’s happy hour.

Hope to see you there. This is always the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbors and enjoy an evening out.

Community Dumpster

The city is dropping off a community dumpster on Conway Street on Saturday, May 25, from around 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Stop by to get rid of unwanted household items and clean up some of the items that have mysteriously been collecting on our streets.

Just a friendly reminder: Please keep commercial waste, appliances (like microwaves and air conditioners), and building materials out of the dumpster. Following these guidelines ensures we can continue to recieve these handy dumpsters from the city.
