November happy hour
For this month’s neighborhood happy hour, we’re heading just across MLK Jr. Blvd to the historic Lithuanian Hall on Friday, November 6, starting at 5:30 pm. Enjoy dinner and drinks from their full bar, featuring classic Lithuanian dishes alongside a unique selection of Eastern European beers. Sticking around later? Their monthly ‘Save Your Soul’ dance party kicks off at 9:00 pm for anyone ready to boogie!
Getting there: Lithuanian Hall is located at the corner of Hollins and Parkin Streets. Enter through the door on Parkin Street; the bar is downstairs.
Community dumpster
The city will be dropping off a community dumpster on Conway Street on Saturday, November 7, from approximately 9:00 to 11:00 am. Stop by to dispose of unwanted household items and help clean up some of the debris that accumulates on our streets.
As always, please keep commercial waste, appliances (like microwaves and air conditioners), and building materials out of the dumpster. Following these guidelines ensures we can continue to receive community dumpsters from the city.
Save the date: Ridgely’s Holiday Party!

Mark your calendars! This year’s Ridgely’s Delight Holiday Party is set for Friday evening, December 4, at Pickles Pub. It’s always one of our best-loved neighborhood traditions—a great chance to catch up with longtime neighbors and welcome new faces. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and next month’s newsletter for more details.
Stars, Stripes and Chow Chili Cookoff
Head over to Oriole Park on Saturday, November 7, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM for The Baltimore Station’s 12th annual chili cook-off! Teams will compete for People’s Choice, Judge’s Choice, and Best Theme honors, alongside live music and kids' activities. It’s a great afternoon right in our backyard—and every dollar raised directly supports local veterans overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency.

Community safety walks
Join your neighbors for a safety walk through the neighborhood most Monday nights. It’s a fun way to meet new people, get some exercise, and help keep our community safe. To learn when and where the walks take place, or to add yourself to the mailing list, email safety@ridgelysdelight.org.
Street sweeping
Don’t forget to move your car on street sweeping days to allow DPW’s equipment to clean your entire block. This month, the scheduled dates will be:
- Odd sides of the street — November 18
- Even sides of the street — November 25
