This month’s Ridgely’s Delight Association (RDA) meeting will be on Wednesday, October 7, at 7pm at Pickles Pub. The meeting's agenda will be posted online when available.

The nominations committee has announced a slate for the 2027 Ridgely’s Delight Association board of directors. There will be a vote at the November meeting.

Ridgely’s & Pigtown joint happy hour
Two neighborhoods, one great happy hour. We’re joining forces with our neighbors in Pigtown for an evening of food, drinks, and good conversation at DF Bar & Restaurant (behind the Dollar General Market)!
- When: Friday, October 9 | 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Where: DF Bar & Restaurant (737 Carroll Street)
- Specials: $8 margaritas, plus $10 burgers & cheesesteaks until 8 pm

Ridgely’s great pumpkin scavenger hunt 2026
Don’t miss your chance to participate in the Spooktacular neighborhood tradition. Keep an eye out on our social media channels over the next week or so for information on scavenger hunt sign-ups and pre-scavenger hunt pumpkin painting.
Free Fall Baltimore
Held throughout the entire month of October, the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts partners with local arts spaces, theater companies, and galleries across town. There are hundreds of completely free, offbeat cultural events. Everything from sound baths and indie film showcases to printmaking pop-ups and eccentric live performances. More information
Edgar Allan Poe Festival
Baltimore embraces its most famous brooding literary figure with full gothic flair on October 2 – 4. Centered around Lexington Market Plaza with connected shuttles to the Edgar Allan Poe House and Westminster Burying Ground (where Poe is buried), this free street festival brings together Poe cosplayers, macabre art and book vendors, dramatic live readings, coffin photo ops, and the annual Black Cat Ball. Community safety walks
Join your neighbors for a safety walk through the neighborhood most Monday nights. It’s a fun way to meet new people, get some exercise, and help keep our community safe. To learn when and where the walks take place, or to add yourself to the mailing list, email safety@ridgelysdelight.org.
Street sweeping
Don’t forget to move your car on street sweeping days to allow DPW’s equipment to clean your entire block. This month, the scheduled dates will be:
