Mural paint day


Please join Ridgely's Delight in celebration of our new mural at Washington Blvd and MLK! 

Neighborhood Paint Day: Saturday, August 29, at MLK and Washington Blvd from 10am to 1pm.

For kids, families, and art lovers! Come and add your own design and meet our muralist, Josh Burggraf. Materials supplied.

If you ordered mural-inspired merchandise, you can pick up your tank, t-shirt. or hoodie at this event.

Neighborhood happy hour

Keep the neighborhood connections going! Following our fantastic turnout at National Night Out last month, let’s keep the momentum rolling and catch up with both new and familiar faces at this month’s Ridgely’s Delight happy hour on Friday, September 4.

  • Where: The Back Yard (131 S. Schroeder St.)
  • When: Friday, September 4. Starts at 5:30pm
  • Location: We’ll be gathering at their outdoor patio space (weather permitting).

Everyone is welcome. Come grab a beverage, a bite to eat, say hello, and spend some quality time with the community.

Pigtown Festival


Mark your calendars! Southwest Baltimore’s biggest street celebration returns on Saturday, September 26, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm along the 700–900 blocks of Washington Boulevard. 

Now in its 24th year, this free annual festival brings together neighbors and visitors from across the city to celebrate the area’s rich history and community spirit.

Highlights include:

  • The Famous “Squeakness” Pig Races: Cheer on your favorite speedy piglet in Pigtown’s signature event.  
  • Local Food & Craft Drinks: A wide selection of neighborhood eateries, food trucks, and craft beer vendors.  
  • Live Music & Entertainment: Continuous live performances across multiple stages featuring local bands and DJs.   
  • Arts & Craft Market: Dozens of local artists and craftspeople lining the boulevard.  
  • Kids Zone: Family-friendly crafts, games, interactive activities, and live entertainment.  

Admission is completely free. Whether you come for the music, the food, or to watch the pigs sprint for glory, it’s the perfect way to spend a fall Saturday with the neighbors.

Don’t forget to move your car on street sweeping days to allow DPW’s equipment to clean your entire block. This month, the scheduled dates will be:
