June Community Meeting
Our next community meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th, starting a 7 pm at the Caribbean Dynasty, 647 West Pratt St. The Ridgely’s Delight Association represents the entire neighborhood, and everyone is welcome!

Community Dumpster
The city will be dropping off a community dumpster on Portland Street on Saturday, June 7, from approximately 9 to 11 am. Stop by to get rid of unwanted household items and clean up some of the debris that collects on our streets. Please note the different location this time!
Just a friendly reminder: Please keep commercial waste, appliances (like microwaves and air conditioners), and building materials out of the dumpster. Following these guidelines ensures we can continue to receive community dumpsters from the city.
June Neighborhood Happy Hour
Mark your calendars! Our popular neighborhood happy hour is back this June, and we’re excited to gather at The Back Yard. They are located directly across from the iconic B&O Railroad Museum (131 South Schroeder St.).
We'll be kicking things off on Friday, June 6th, from 5:30 pm in their inviting outdoor area. Come and soak up the early summer evening with fellow neighbors, share some laughs, and build on our wonderful community spirit. The Back Yard offers a great atmosphere to relax and mingle.

AFRAM Festival
AFRAM 2025 in Baltimore will be held on Saturday, June 21st, and Sunday, June 22nd, at Druid Hill Park. The festival is Baltimore's official Juneteenth celebration and a cultural, music, and arts event. The musical lineup will include performances by Patti LaBelle, Vedo, Amerie, Saweetie, Teedra Moses, and Juvenile.
Pride On The Waterfront
Dapper Dan Midas, aka DDM, celebrates Baltimore’s vibrant LGBTQ community with a dazzling showcase of drag, fashion, and music at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater on June 7. The lineup includes All Aboard: A Drag Hour by The Club Car Baltimore, Stealya-manz, Kotic Couture, DJ 7oey, DJ DNyce, and JPope and The HearNow’s soulful hip-hop funk. More information.
Happy Birthday Baltimore!
Put on your party hat and join neighbors from all across the City to celebrate Baltimore’s 296th birthday on Friday, July 25! The party will be at 4MLK, the newest multi-tenant lab and office building in the UM BioPark, just a short walk from Ridgelys. Purchase tickets.
Thinking of Sprucing Up Your Home?
Because it’s a historic area with a special CHAP designation, any exterior renovations in Ridgely’s Delight might also need approval from the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation (CHAP).
