Community Meeting
There is no community meeting scheduled for June. However, there will
be a board meeting, Wed., June 1st at 7pm, upstairs at Camden Pub. All
who
live and/or work in the neighborhood are welcome to attend.
Federal Hill 2005 Jazz and Blues Festival
The Jazz & Blues Festival takes place Sunday, June 19 from 11-7pm
on S. Charles St. (between West and Hamburg) and E. Cross St. on both
sides of the market. Come listen to Baltimoreâ€s best
live jazz and blues and
sample fantastic food and drink, as you peruse booths featuring fine art,
jewelry, antiques and other crafts. Admission is only $3 and well worth
it!
Ridgely's Garden Tour
Turn your urban decay into an urban oasis with ideas from your green-thumbed
neighbors. Meet at Conway St. park on June 12th, at 11a.m. to join a free
garden tour of the neighborhood. There are 10 gardens on the tour thus
far, but we are still looking for some from the north side. If you are
interested or know someone that is, e-mail Susan at roadsk8ersue@msn.com.
Rain date is June 19th.
Residential Parking Permit Renewal
Parking stickers must be renewed by the end June. The renewal process
may be done two ways for existing permit-holders. Residents who do
not currently have a permit must apply in person after June 20. Go to
the
Dept of Parking at 200 W. Lombard and renew your Area 5 parking permit.
Bring proof of residency, check or credit card (NO CASH) and registration(s),
or
if you are renewing an existing permit, go online to www.baltimoreprefparking.com/,
and follow the instructions. The cost is
$20 per permit and $20 for a visitorâ€s pass. Take your
printed receipt,
proof of residency and car registration(s) to the Dept of Parking. Those
who registered online by June 20th can pick up your parking pass on
Monday, June 27th from 5-7pm Cappoochino Cafe. For more information call

Ridgely's Delight Running Club
Enjoy the weather and good company while getting in shape. The
Ridgely's running club is off and, well, running already. Members meet
three
times a week, Tues. at 5pm, Wed. at 6pm and Sat. at 10am starting each
run

First Friday Happy Hour
This month's happy hour will be at Pickles Pub, Friday June 3rd. We'll
kick things off around 6ish. Come by, bring a friend and enjoy great food
and drink specials. The more the merrier!
Live, Local Music for Saturday Home O's Games
Max's Camden Yards on Pratt St. across from the stadium will feature live
music after Saturday home Oâ€s games. On June 18th, come
see
Frenchbread and the Chinamen.

Good Neighbor Trash Tips
The final of our four-part series: Tips on Bulk Trash
If you have a large item that you need to dispose of, please do not
simply leave this for general pickup. You must dial 311 to schedule an
appointment (at least three days ahead), and appointments can be made
only for
the first Tuesday of the month. Only three items (such as furniture and
appliances) are picked up at a time at any one address. For more info

For the Little Italy in All of Us
Make the walk to St. Leo's Church in Little Italy for the Feast of St.
Anthony Festival. Each year residents of Little Italy hold this feast
to
thank St. Anthony for saving the community from the great Baltimore
fire of 1904. This year it will be held June 11th and 12th from noon to
8pm.
$1.00 admission/donation. There will be games for both kids and adults,
a
dunking booth, a bocce ball tourny and much more, plus the return of the
grease pole.
Who's Up for Spam Bowling?
Well it's just one of the many exciting events to participate in at HonFest
2005, a truly Baltimore tradition. This year it will be held Saturday,
June 11th from 11am to 8pm, On the Avenue which is on 36th St. in Hampden.
