Community Meeting
There will be a community meeting on Wednesday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m.
upstairs at Camden Pub. We will discuss the results of the strategic
planning retreat held on May 22. This is a community-sanctioned event.

Developing a Delightful Neighborhood
The Ridgely's Delight Strategic Planning Committee sponsored a planning
session on May 22 to discuss the information gathered during the past five
months. We have tentative plans for Movies in the Park on Saturday, July
17, when we hope to unveil the plan. It will also be available at
www.ridgelysdelight.org. Look for more details in next month's newsletter.

Jazz in the Park
Mark your calendar! Baltimore's Big Band will perform jazz and popular
tunes in Conway Park on Thursday, July 18, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Watch for
more information in next month's newsletter.

African-American Festival
The African-American Festival will be held June 18-20 at Camden Yards. The
association is working with the Stadium Authority to make sure we have
parking enforcement during the event. For more information about the
festival, visit www.aahf.org.

UMB Housing Fair June 11
Ridgely's Delight will have a booth at the University Housing Fair on
Friday, June 11, from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Student Union, 621 West
Lombard. If you are looking for housing, this is one-stop shopping where
you can compare apartment buildings, other housing and moving amenities.

Celebrate at Porters in Pigtown
Porters Coffeehouse on Washington Boulevard will celebrate its first
anniversary from June 9-16. Check the website at www.porterscoffeehouse.com
for special events.

Neighborhood Parking Registration
The sign-up procedure for parking stickers has changed. This year, there
will only be one event.
When: Monday, June 21, 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Where: Parking Authority Office, 200 W. Lombard St.,
Car decals are $20 and visitor passes are $20 (only one visitor pass per
household). You must be a current resident with current vehicle
registration to obtain a residential parking permit. Handicap tags are
required to purchase a handicap decal.

Parking registration is now online. Please visit the Parking Authority's registration page. Follow the
directions and print out the necessary paperwork. Bring it to the office at
the above date or Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. after June 21 to pick
up your decal or visitor pass. Please bring:
· Current vehicle registration and proof of residence
and if applicable:
· School registration or student ID
· Members of armed forces ID
· Notarized document to certify exclusive use of vehicle not registered
in your name
· Checks (no cash will be accepted)
These documents will be accepted as proof of residence:
· Current lease or landlord's notarized statement (month-to-month or
automatic renewal leases require additional documentation?current phone
bill, utility bill or cable bill)
· Settlement papers
· Current vehicle registration
· Driver's license or MVA ID card
· Current utility bill or cable bill fewer than 30 days old showing
applicant's name and address
If you do not have access to a computer, you can register in the Parking
Authority office. If you have questions, call the Parking Authority at
443-573-2800.

Uniquely Baltimore Events
June 12, HonFest 2004
Celebrate all things unique about Bawlmer including
contests, fashion show and live music at the Avenue in Hampden, 11:00
a.m-8:00 p.m.
June 14, Flag Day
Recite of the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a
patriotic program including Maryland Army National Guard Band and
Children's Chorus at Fort McHenry National Monument, 6:00-9:00 p.m
