from
Susquehanna Bank.

that entitles you to food and drink specials.
Community Cleanup
Our bi-annual community cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 3.
Please meet at the Mobil station at 8:00 a.m. The Association will provide
tools, bags and gloves. Please volunteer some of your time to help make
Ridgely's a more delightful place to live. The cleanup is a
community-sanctioned event.
Neighborhood Party Date Changed to 4/10
On Saturday, April 10, beginning at 1:00 p.m., the Ridgely's Delight
Community Association will throw a free barbecue in the tot lot. Anyone
who
lives, works or owns property in the neighborhood is invited. The party
will feature free hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, desserts and beverages.

that we can plan the amount of food and drinks we will need, please RSVP
to
Joanne at 410-727-8060 or Debbie at 410-837-0329. If you show up early
to
help set up, you will be warmly welcomed.

materials, hazardous waste or furniture in the dumpster.
Garden Clean-up
Help beautify the entrance to our community. On April 10, from 9:00 a.m.
through noon, a group of residents will be working on the garden at the
corner of MLK and Washington Boulevard. A load of mulch will be delivered,
and a dumpster will be available for community use. However, you may not
use it for building materials, hazardous waste or furniture. This clean-up
is a community-sanctioned event.
Developing a Delightful Neighborhood
The Ridgley's Delight Strategic Planning Committee is moving along on
schedule. We have completed our residents' survey and are in the midst
of
the business and physical survey. In addition, we have met with
representatives from the University of Maryland, University of Medical
Medical System and the WestSide Renaissance to request their participation.
On May 22, we will meet for an all-day session at Memorial Episcopal
Church, 1407 Bolton Street, to come up with our final plan. Anyone who
lives or works in the neighborhood is invited to participate. Please note
that you must be prepared to stay for the entire session, which will run
from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. If you are interested, RSVP to Blaine at
410-837-0801. You will receive a packet to help you prepare for the event.
Parking Registration Procedures Changing
In May, Ridgely's Delight will hold neighborhood registration for parking
stickers. The city has changed the procedure slightly this year. The new
process will be outlined in next month's newsletter as well as online.
Free Orioles Tickets
The Orioles are seeking approximately 2,000 volunteers to help them develop
an emergency evacuation plan at Camden Yards from 8:30 to noon on Saturday,
April 10. Each person who shows up will receive a voucher for a free ticket
for any game, Monday through Thursday. Call 410-547-6078 to register.
