Russell St. Viaduct Replacement
You may have noticed that the bridge that carries Russell St. over Monroe St. is being replaced. This construction is expected to take up to 30 months and likely to have an unavoidable negative impact on traffic. To ease the impact, the DOT suggests: 1. Alternate routes, 2. Alternate times for travel, 3. Mass transit. Suggestions for these options and updates can be found at www.russellgateway.org.

Good Neighbor Trash Tips
The first of a four part series…
Trash can become a serious problem when not disposed of properly. This is not just an aesthetic matter, but a health matter when it attracts rats and effects areas where children play. It becomes a safety issue when the appearance of the community suggests residents don't care, potentially attracting thieves and vandals. Baltimore has few rules for trash collection-it begins at 7am, and collectors will not pick up material improperly put out or too heavy to lift. Violations of these rules lead to fines of $50 to $250. Please do your part to keep Ridgley's Delight clean.

Give A Hoot
Another way to keep our neighborhood clean is through litter prevention. Please use the recepticals provided for all trash. And to help combat the problem of litterers passing through, take a moment and pick up the trash you see-if we all do our part it can make a world of difference.

Calling All Crafters
Knitting Nights at Cappoochino Café have been expanded and are now Craft Nights! No longer for only the knitting officianados, come share your skills in jewerly making, origame, sewing, or other creative pursuits-or just come by to learn something new. Craft nights this month will be Tues' Mar. 1st, 15th, and 29th,.

Funky Good Cause
Mar. 6th 2-10pm the Funk Box (10 E Cross Street in Federal Hill) will host the 2nd annual "MammoJam Music Festival"-a music festival dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment by raising money for the Hoffberger Breast Center at Baltimore's Mercy Hospital.
