Citizens on Patrol: A Success Story!
As many recall, a rash of muggings in Ridgley's in Dec. had the neighborhood
on edge. A powerful partnership between the COP's and a vigilant neighbor,
the gregarious dentist, worked together to bring it all to an end. COP's
battled ugly winter weather, distributing info flyers, helping Dan to
identify the mugger and call the Baltimore police, which resulted in his
capture. Way to go team! And a lesson for all of us. Keep your eyes and
ears open - it works!
Looking for a new hobby?
Why not join in Knitting Nights at Cappoochino Café every other
Tuesday evening, beginning around 7pm. Just bring needles and yarn. There
are free, informal lessons for beginners. This month's dates are February
1st and 15th.
