Ridgely’s Delight Association (RDA) June community meeting

This month’s community meeting will be held outdoors and in-person, on Wednesday, June 1, 7pm in the Melvin/Penn playground. Guest speaker will be Shamir Cole, manager of residential parking permits of the Parking Authority of Baltimore. She will update us on our virtual parking permit (VPP) program and be available to answer questions.

There will be an online option for anyone who might be uncomfortable with meeting in person. Rain plan is to be all Zoom — check online for decision and link, call will be made by 6pm day of meeting. Details will be posted on the Ridgely’s website at: ridgelysdelight.org/june22-meeting

First Friday happy hour


Join your neighbors for another Ridgley’s First Friday Happy Hour. This month we’ll be at Suspended  Brewing Company, 912 Washington Blvd. — on June 3, starting at 5:30pm.

Charles Street Promenade

From 9am – 9pm on June 4, Charles Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Saratoga St to Lafayette Ave. Stroll, skip, bike, or blade while exploring the local businesses and restaurants that call Charles Street home. The event also features live performances, fashion shows, walking tours, and free fitness classes. charlesstreetpromenade.com

Community dumpster


There will be a dumpster on Conway Street for community use on the morning of Saturday, June 11. Please do not use it for commercial waste or building materials.

AFRAM

The largest African American festival on the East Coast returns to Druid Hill Park on Juneteenth weekend (June 18 & 19). For two days, people from all walks of life come together to enjoy national entertainment, local eats, art, and more. aframbaltimore.com

Bromo Art Walk

The Bromo Tower Arts & Entertainment District, stretches from the Bromo Seltzer Tower to Antique Row, near Mount Vernon. You can experience the neighborhood during a night of artistic performances, exhibits, and open studios at the vibrant cultural institutions and galleries on Thursday, June 23, 5 – 9pm. Cross Street community social

Join Federal Hill Main Street for a weekly Community Social every Wednesday from 5:30pm until 9:30pm on Cross Street. Includes live music, drink and food specials from local businesses and games for the kids.
